For seven years now, the end of the year has gone hand in hand with … the return of the Business with Attitude award! Madame Figaro launches its call for applications to participate in this competition, which every year crowns female entrepreneurship. Its aim remains identical to previous editions: to enable women entrepreneurs to break the glass ceiling, to aim higher and bigger. “This experience marked a before and after for my entrepreneurial adventure, says Asmaa Chakir Alaoui, 2022 winner who won over the jury with her electric bike rental company, VelyVelo. This has brought me recognition from my peers and from the ecosystem of start-ups and investment funds.”

A true talent accelerator, the award is open to female entrepreneurs whose business is between one and eight years old, has accumulated 250,000 euros in revenue or fundraising and defends a project with a social, societal or environmental impact or a new way of managing. The winner will be chosen at a major ceremony in April in Paris and will benefit from a year’s media coverage in the pages of Figaro. This year, six company managers are selected. They will join the community of former graduates, a true mutual aid and exchange club. Your portrait will be published on the pages of Madame Figaro.

In addition to the competition, this competition is a support adventure: the selected candidates will, according to their wishes, have an acceleration course with the Google for Startups teams at Station F; training in positive impact strategies and the B Corp brand with Élisabeth Laville, founder of the consultancy Utopies.

Two more prizes

To this must be added a tailor-made masterclass for graduates devoted to decision science (to help them combat the cognitive biases that mislead us) and fundraising. That’s not all: public speaking coaching will help them improve their pitch on stage on the night of the finals and also to defend their cases to investors. A whole series designed to help them reach key stages in the development of their business.

Registration takes place online on the website Madame Figaro until December 2 at midnight. Last year’s novelty will be this season’s norm: in addition to the Business with Attitude award, the public’s favorite award (voted live and online during the ceremony) and the Potentielles award will be awarded in collaboration with the Diversidays association to support less. visible projects.

in parallel, Madame Figaro launches a cycle of four business masterclasses with a first meeting on 22 November (Read below). These meetings are rooted in the editor’s call to support women in their careers and work-life balance.

Business with Attitude is organized with the support of La Poste group, #ConnectHers by BNP Paribas, EY, The Ladies Bank by Oddo BHF, Bpifrance, Google, Engie and Nespresso.
