As every year for 33 years, open days will be organized on the occasion of World Pet Day at the SPA de la Haute-Vienne, 156 avenue du Général René-Chambe in Couzeix (3 km after the airport from Bellegarde towards Nieul), Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October from 11am to 6pm.

The association Ciel de Musette welcomes its counterpart from Loir-et-Cher Montoire Accordéon Saturday 1 October and Sunday 2 October from 2.30pm to 6.30pm at Espace Georges-Brassens in Feytiat for a free gala dance. A refreshment bar will be open to visitors. Montoire Accordéon is twenty musicians under the direction of Patrick Espluga. Ciel de Musette, a Feytia association since 2017, gathers 34 musicians under the direction and chairmanship of Michel Faure.

Social

Since 1946, the Little Brothers of the Poor have fought against the isolation and loneliness of the elderly, primarily the poorest. On the occasion of the International Day of the Elderly and in collaboration with MFR in Beynac (rural family home, school and lay place with association status, which aims to train and educate young people and adults as well as their social and professional integration), the Little Brothers of the Poor of Limoges will open the doors of their new premises, 14 rue Adrien-Tarrade (near Place Carnot) on Saturday 1 October from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. A presentation of the association and its actions will be offered (home visits or in establishments, collective workshops, stays, excursions, etc.) 11:00 in the presence of volunteers and accompanied persons.

“Gerontology animator” training composed of 7 trainees.

Careers

On Saturday, October 1 at 2 p.m., the association of former students of La Grimaudie and the association Heritage and Cultures of Saint-Hilaire-les-Places offer a guided tour of the quarries that were previously exploited in Saint-Hilaire.

The art fair Art PTT Limousin will take place at the Pavillon du Verdurier in Limoges from October 1 to 9 (10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.). A painter, René Laurensou, and a poet, Marie-Line Saltel-Bayol, pooled their talents to compose an artist’s book on the theme of love. The success of this book led them to create a show. And it is 18 texts extracted from these poetic readings, which are staged and dramatized. Everything is accompanied by their friend Philippe Bassaler’s original music. Two interludes embellish these poetic readings, a slam and a projection of black-and-white photos. A local musician will accompany, live, according to his inspiration, this photographic bracket.

Cancellation
