Large smartphone with a completely renewed design, compared to previous Pixels, and quite divisive, the Pixel 6 Pro benefits from impeccable manufacturing quality, but also from a beautiful adaptive 120 Hz Oled screen. If we can regret its acceptable autonomy, the smartphone stands out from the crowd of premium models – billed a few hundred euros more than it – by its uncompromising power, but also its versatility in photography, especially at night, powered by Google’s algorithms. A success, then.

Strong points

  • Often fantastic night shots.
  • Very powerful Tensor chip.
  • Beautiful 120 Hz OLED screen.
  • Weight contained relative to its format.
  • Nice design.

Weak points

  • Partition design.
  • Charging not very fast.
  • Average autonomy.
  • Charger optional.

Once again, Google demonstrates its complete mastery of mobile photography. Unfortunately, this does not make the Pixel 6 a perfect smartphone, mainly because of its Oled panel that is not quite up to the competition, or its limited autonomy and its charging far too slow for the top of the range. Despite this, thanks to its power and the overall experience it offers, it is definitely still one of the best smartphones on the market.
