Before we go into the details of this new product, a few words about Jackery. Founded in 2012, this Californian company specializes in the design of solar generators for off-grid nomadic activities. The manufacturer was the first to offer a range of portable electric stations that use lithium-ion batteries, offering all the flexibility needed by adventurers.
At the same time, Jackery has perfected its portable solar charging technology to offer turnkey solutions that are efficient, safe, clean and sustainable. With this, Jackery has become the best-selling brand of solar generators in the world, with two million units sold.
Compact and portable
The Solar Generator 1000 Pro consists of two elements: the Jackery Explorer 1000 Pro portable power plant and four SolarSaga solar panels of 200 watts each.
The Explorer 1000 Pro has a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1002 Wh in direct current (2000 Wh peak), whose operation is monitored by a BMS (Battery Management System) identical to that found in electric cars. It monitors the condition of each battery cell in real time to improve battery life and prevent overheating.
Compared to other products with similar capacity, the Explorer 1000 Pro station is more compact (340 x 262 x 256 mm) and weighs only 11.5 kg. Thanks to its integrated folding handle, it is easy to transport and always finds a place in a trunk or storage compartment.
Turn on up to seven devices
The electrical station has complete connections to supply up to seven devices: two 230 volt power sockets, a 12 volt cigarette lighter port, two USB Type-A ports (18 watts, computer format) and two USB Type-C ports (the format of smartphones ) compatible with fast charging up to 100 watts.
This is the guarantee of being able to supply all your electronic devices (phone, computer, speaker, console, etc.), but also portable household appliances (refrigerator, microwave oven, lighting, electric hob, etc.). ) for camping, fishing, hiking, RV trips… The input and output power is displayed on the station’s color screen, along with information about its battery level and its charging status.
Here are some examples of use: nine recharges for a laptop (65 watts), 14 hours of continuous power for an electric blanket (55 watts), 2.5 hours of power for a portable electric heater. At home, you can plug in a 60-watt TV for 13 hours or power a 520-watt refrigerator for 1.6 hours in the event of a power outage.

And all this without deviating from an environmentally responsible practice thanks to fast charging via solar panels. By combining four 200-watt SolarSaga, it takes just 1.8 hours to fully charge the Explorer 1000 Pro station. There is no one faster on the market! Thanks to its intelligent battery management, the Explorer 1000 Pro has a standby mode that can reach 365 days with a charge of 80%.
And for the more adventurous, Jackery also offers the brand new SolarSaga 80W double-sided solar panel, which can absorb the sun’s energy from both sides. Efficient, the Jackery electric station is also very durable as it can reach 1,000 charging cycles, which equates to a lifespan of 10 years at the rate of once a week. In addition, it comes with a five-year warranty.
