Noted release of Bugatti La Voiture Noire in Croatia – 4Legend.com – AudiPassion.com

The desire to create the best vehicles in the world is at the heart of the Bugatti vision. Cars of timeless beauty, supremely luxurious and incomparably fast, yet still designed to be both used and enjoyed. During the Supercar Owners Circle (SOC), which took place in Croatia from 2 to 5 September 2022, customers covered more than 1,000 km. All the modern Bugatti hyper sports cars, including the only extant La Voiture Noire, were assembled.

This unique automotive masterpiece is the ultimate illustration of Bugatti’s mastery of engineering and design at the highest level. Created as a tribute to the famous missing Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, even known as “La Voiture Noire”, this extraordinary vehicle has a completely bespoke design. Each of the 3D printed grid cells has been fine-tuned to perfection. The headlights on each side contain over 25 individually milled light elements, while the rear end is dominated by an elegant continuous headlight, the first to be made from a single, seamless piece. The six separate tailpipes are a nod to the model on which this vehicle is based, and the new design of the front and rear gives the impression that the various parts of the body have been welded together.

Although a unique piece, La Voiture Noire has been subjected to the same durability and safety tests as any other Bugatti. This has allowed its current owner to be able to enjoy it in all conditions and at maximum performance – such as during SOC’s four-day excursion to Croatia, the greatest hyper sports car driving experience in automotive history. .

Limited-edition models – the first Centodieci and a Divo – a Chiron Super Sport 300+, a Chiron Super Sport, a Chiron L’Ébé, a Chiron Pur Sport, a Chiron Sport and four Chirons joined La Voiture Noire in Croatia. A very rare Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition represented the Veyron era. Each of these masterpieces began the SOC event with a hill climb along winding roads in the mountains near Zagreb – the natural home of the Divo and Chiron Pur Sport, both models designed specifically to deliver traction, increased support and agility.

From the beautiful mountainous region of Sljeme, the SOC convoy headed towards the center of Zagreb under police escort for a public display right in front of the Zagreb Cathedral. A crowd of several thousand took the opportunity to admire the precious golden details of the Chiron L’Ébé and the design inspired by Centodieci’s coachbuilding – developed as a tribute to the legendary Bugatti EB110. It is very rare to come across even a Bugatti on the road, so seeing all these cars gathered in one place was truly a unique opportunity.

On the morning of Saturday 3 September, the SOC convoy – bringing together the most successful cars in the world – went to the Aeronautical Technical Center Velika Gorica ZTC for another public display on the airport’s closed runway. The crowd was treated to the full fury of Bugatti’s iconic 8-litre quad-turbo engine that powers world record-holding vehicles such as the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition.

In the afternoon, the guests departed for the beautiful town of Sibenik on the Adriatic coast, a journey of almost 400 km (250 miles). They spent the rest of the weekend exploring the amazing coastal roads and the island of Pag then returned to the mainland by ferry to join the Magistrala route and Sibenik to finish this excursion.

Bugatti Rimac CEO Mate Rimac said: “It is a real honor for me to welcome the Supercar Owners Circle for the second consecutive year in my country. By choosing to share their rare and special vehicles with the enthusiastic public in Croatia, our customers have proven how truly passionate they are is about the Bugatti brand. The fact that every car that leaves our Atelier – even completely unique examples – is driveable and enjoyable, capable of delivering comfort on 1,000km trips, breaking speed records on closed tracks or tackling winding mountain roads, is very much in the spirit of Ettore Bugatti.”
