On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Lady Diana’s death, Jean-François Musa confided in the columns of Mirror :”I have no idea where the car is. All I know is that it is legally mine and of course I want it back. It should now have been returned, but it turned out not to be possible. I have always owned it. It received no support.“During this interview, the owner of the car assured thathe wanted the wreck to be displayed in an American museum to honor his memory the young lady. However, the British royal family has indicated that it prefers it to disappear in the utmost discretion.

In 2017, the car was stored in a shipping container at a police car impoundment near Créteil on the outskirts of Paris. On the spot, an employee told Mirror :”It was previously stored here, but was moved several years ago. I don’t know where it is.
