Open “something that did not yet exist in Menton”

“I was in charge of the pop-up shop on the Esplanade des Sablettes in Menton, then I was transferred to manage Beausoleil”, she recalls. An experience that allowed him to make himself “a good directory of creators”.

“That is why I embarked on this adventure, otherwise I would never have done it.supplied by the designer. I wanted to get up on my own now, to fly. Being in Menton also saves me the round trips, with the costs involved, to Beausoleil.”

In the person of Stéphanie, whom she met at the beginning of the year, she found a partner of choice for this new chapter. At first, the two young women only planned to open a concept store.

“We had found a room on the level of the Biovès gardens, but it passed under our noses two days before the opening!”, they say. After weeks of searching, they finally found this place, behind the pedestrian street.

“It was very old, we had to redo everything from floor to ceiling: remove the carpet, the wallpaper on the walls… But we still had this beautiful and large space, so we thought we could open something else, besides a designer store”, explains Baby Jane Pecorelli. “We thought about what could work in Menton and what didn’t yet exist, and the idea of a coworking space was born. After a month of work, the premises were able to open their doors last Sunday for an inauguration evening.

On site, there are especially the managers’ two brands: Ayatim Art’custom jewelry and accessories, and Art’Stefactmacrame creations (a form of fabric creation based on a certain technique with knots, which can be flat or in volume, editor’s note).
