Bentley Motors announced that Bentley Residences in Miami will offer all residents a four-car garage with space for electric vehicle charging stations. Access to these will be provided by an innovative ‘Dezervator’ lift, named after development partner Dezer Development, which can transport a car and passengers from the road to the apartment in one movement, creating an unprecedented lifestyle for its customers. With a new virtual reality tour available, prospective residents can experience the Bentley Residences, including traveling via the Dezervator to the residence garages.
The Bentley homes will include four “Dezervators”; a unique elevator design, developed by Bentley’s partners at Dezer Development, with the ability to transport cars to the top floor of the 228m building. Each elevator has a hydraulic system that clamps a car by its deck to pull it over a robotic shuttle system , which in turn transports a car up or down to the correct floor.
Riding the Dezervator, sitting in your car, is a unique experience – with the lower floors of the elevator shaft surrounded by glass, offering a full panoramic view of the building’s common areas.
Each resident will have a personal garage for three or four cars in their apartment, with the option of charging electric cars, providing private, convenient and secure storage for their car collections up to the 61st floor. RFID stickers will be placed in all residents’ cars, which are automatically scanned upon arrival at the building, triggering a sophisticated lighting system that guides the driver to the correct Dezervator to reach their own floor. The technology in place recognizes this identifier and takes them directly to their home without the driver needing to get out of their vehicle or even press a button.
Bentley Motors and Dezer Development announced their partnership in 2021 and detailed plans for the first-ever Bentley-branded residences, which will span 61 floors and feature bay and ocean views from each exquisitely finished apartment. In 2022, the Sales Gallery opened near the site of the future Bentley Residences in Sunny Isles Beach, Miami, giving potential buyers a chance to familiarize themselves with the architectural development.
Bentley’s residences can now be visited in virtual reality, with each of the common areas and luxury apartments, built in Unreal Engine – a gaming platform that offers advanced real-time 3D creation, a tool used by game developers and suitable for use. As part of the virtual tour, users can experience the building the way residents want, either by walking or arriving by car and going directly to their floor.
Visitors to Bentley Residences, including friends and family of residents, will be able to use the additional parking spaces under the building. The garage will also include fast charging stations for electric cars and plug-in hybrids.
Wireless connectivity will be available in all Bentley residences, facilitated by a hot wire system with coverage in Dezervators.
Virtual reality users can experience the Dezervator, built-in garages and more. In fact, all of the amenities in the east and west units of the Bentley Residences building will be available for virtual preview: apartments with balcony pools; the cinema; the game room; the wellness center and spa; the whiskey bar; the cigar lounge; Restaurant; and the magnificent lobby. From browsing 61 floors via Dezervator to examining the exquisite interior design details in common areas, the virtual tour is set to whet the appetite of potential residents now that sales have officially opened.
