Game news Yakuza: The Saga Makes Fists Talk on PlayStation Plus
Already the star of Game Pass, the Yakuza saga, born in 2005 in the premises of Amusement Vision, is now getting fists talking about the new PlayStation Plus. We tell you everything!
7 Yakuza games coming to PS+
Absolutely, the month of August on the PlayStation side will be under the sign of the Yakuza! After revealing the arrival of Yakuza: Like a Dragon on PlayStation Plus Essential, Sony takes the floor once again to announce another good news: almost the entire series is coming to PlayStation Plus.
The acclaimed Yakuza series, which includes the saga of Kazuma Kiryu and the latest installment Yakuza: Like A Dragon, is coming to PlayStation Plus in 2022. All gamers fascinated by Sega’s long-running series will be able to experience its clever mix of combat, from neighborhood for visits, mini-games and fascinating stories from next month. It is therefore no less than seven games that land on PlayStation Plus during the year, starting with Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath, Yakuza Kiwami, the remake of the very first opus, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, the remake of the second chapter. These three works that have marked the history of video games will be available in a few days, in August, to all players who subscribe to PS+ Extra or PS+ Premium.
Later this year (unfortunately, no specific date has been given), PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers will also be able to get their hands on Yakuza 3 Remastered and its sequels, namely Yakuza 4 Remastered and Yakuza 5 Remastered.
Finally, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, the conclusion to the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu, will also be available later this year. Unlike the three previously mentioned games, the title will be available in the PlayStation Plus Extra as well as in the Premium offering.
Already on Game Pass
With the arrival of Yakuza games in the new PlayStation Plus formula, Sony responds again to Game Pass. It should be said that most of the games from the Ryu ga Gotoku Studio license have been available in Microsoft’s video games-on-demand service for many months now. For example, Yakuza: Like a Dragon landed in the current 2021 program, and Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 have already made two passages on the Xbox brand catalog. A glimpse at the launch of Xbox Series X | And more recently as the three games have been back for a good month now.
