What you will learn in this guide:
Wireless DeX vs Screen Mirroring
So how does wireless DeX differ from regular screen mirroring on your TV or PC? First, there’s the user interface: DeX is a virtual desktop environment. It does more than just enlarge your phone screen. Multiple applications can be displayed, windows can be resized, keyboard shortcuts can be accessed, and the right mouse button can be used.
You can also check your phone’s messages and incoming calls without having to pause what you’re doing to check them. You don’t have to slow down to stay on top of relevant posts when you’re in the zone and at your most productive level.
Second, while your phone is powered by DeX, you can continue to use it as a phone. It basically gives you a dual screen experience. While you continue to present on TV, you can do whatever you want on your phone. For example, if you need to quickly respond to an important text from a colleague while you have slides on the screen, you can do so without disturbing the presentation.
Why use DeX Wireless on a laptop?
Samsung DeX has many different features that best suit your needs. Samsung DeX mode allows your device to display a PC-like experience on a big screen with the same apps you use on your phone every day.
