The Yoga Slim 7 Pro is the worthy descendant of the Yoga Slim 7. It performs almost flawlessly with a neat design and top performance powered by its AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor. Its 14-inch OLED screen is also an asset with its thin edges and 90 Hz refresh rate despite very high reflectance. We regret, however, an autonomy slightly below certain competing models, but it is a counterpart to agree to take advantage of an Oled panel in high definition.

Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is an excellent PC that can be used for both game than tackling demanding creative software (such as video editing, 3D rendering, or photography). It’s all made possible by a super-efficient AMD Ryzen 9 5900 HX processor and a durable GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. In the game, the PC also performs well, and in the end it suffers from only a few shortcomings, primarily a screen that could be improved, and the absence of an Ethernet port.

Lenovo is fixing the main flaw with its Legion 5 by equipping it with a new 165 Hz panel that is more responsive and, above all, with more faithful colors. On the performance side, the Ryzen 7 5800H processor works wonders; The AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card offers an interesting performance but lacks versatility over the competition.

Let’s face it, the Lenovo Legion 5 (15ACH6H) might have surprised us. We could not find anything to complain about the chassis and it provides very good performance with few faults. Turbo mode is just a bit noisy. The Ryzen 5 5600H / GeForce RTX 3060 pair appears balanced, especially for this price range. But Legion 5 sins after its screen with barely correct colorimetry and the absence of another memory module, which limits the performance of the processor and graphics card. Those who are not afraid to get their hands dirty can correct this last point. For others, we recommend the Asus Dash F15.

Yoga Slim for advanced office automation, Ideapad for entry-level or even Legion on the side game, so many references that we regularly see pass through Lenovo, a brand that has established itself in the laptop market for a long time. Our guide to the brand’s best PCs allows you to instantly discover the models of the moment that are worth it according to our tests.

In order to evaluate and compare the PCs that pass through our laboratory, we measure in particular their build quality, their performance using synthetic benchmarks and numerous application software to measure the speed of the execution of various tasks (3D rendering, photo editing, compression, video editing), their screen in terms of brightness, contrast and precision (especially colors), and finally the quality of the headphone output, without forgetting the autonomy.
