OnePlus has released a nice selection of phones so far this year, and new rumors suggest that the Chinese company may be preparing a new model.
We have gathered the latest news and rumors about the potential OnePlus 10T.
What is the release date of the OnePlus 10T?
OnePlus has not yet announced any official announcement, but rumors suggest that a OnePlus 10T will be released by July / August. It’s not as simple as it sounds, as OnePlus has been a bit scattered with its models released in the last few years.
- OnePlus 10 Pro – March 2022
- OnePlus 9 & 9 Pro – March 2021
- OnePlus 8T – October 2020
- OnePlus 8 & 8 Pro – April 2020
For several years, OnePlus released the standard model with a traditional numbering, such as OnePlus 8, it was then followed six months later by the T version, OnePlus 8T. However, this has gone a bit out of the shadows since 2021.
OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro arrived on time and there was no 9T six months later or at all. Now in 2022 we have seen the release of OnePlus 10 Pro but not OnePlus 10 but rumors are talking about a 10T which may well be launched.
What price for OnePlus 10T?
Again, we do not have a confirmed price for the OnePlus 10T, so we are based on previous models. Here are the prices they had when they launched:
- OnePlus 10 Pro – € 899
- OnePlus 9 – € 699
- OnePlus 9 Pro – € 899
- OnePlus 8T – € 649
Clearly, the Pro is more expensive, so the most likely comparisons are between the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 8. With that in mind, the OnePlus 10T is likely to sell for around € 699.
What about the technical features of the OnePlus 10T?
Although there is no official information on the OnePlus 10T specifications, a recent report from the technically savvy Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh) and the OneSiteGo website provides a complete map of what it might look like, along with some renditions of the device, dubbed Ovaltine.
OnePlus will likely have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which would match the 10T’s expected release date, as Qualcomm has confirmed that the new chip will be in phones from Q3 (July-September) 2022.
In a tweet, Yogesh gave the most important features of the OnePlus 10 / 10T (Ovomaltine):
OnePlus 10 / 10T (Ovaltine)
– 6.7 “FHD + AMOLED, 120Hz
– Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
– 50MP (OIS) triple camera setup
– 32 MP selfies
– OxygenOS 12
– 4,800mAh battery

The 6.7-inch AMOLED FHD + screen is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a triple photo module consisting of a 50 Mp main sensor with OIS, 16 Mp ultra wide angle and a 2 Mp macro. They will record video up to 4K / 60’s. There is also a 32MP selfie shooter that goes up to 1080p / 30’s.
This seems plausible, as the OnePlus 10 Pro boasts a 48 MP sensor for its main camera and 50 MP for ultra-wide angle with an 8 MP telephoto lens.
The OnePlus 10T is also said to be powered by a 4800mAh battery with 150W fast charging, but without wireless charging. This would mean that the new model charges faster than the 80W OnePlus 10 Pro, but where this device lacks speed, it is more complete with its wireless charging capability.
OnePlus 10T would run on OxygenOS 12 and Android 12.
In fairness, rumors suggest that it is actually the standard OnePlus 10 that has not yet been launched. GSM Arena reports that when it comes to names, the company can follow the trend it set with its Nord lineup, but also do away with the classic alarm slider on the OnePlus 10T. Apparently, it will now only be reserved for Pro models. Which is a shame …
