Redfall opens Xbox and Bethesda show

The long-awaited Xbox & Bethesda conference started this Sunday. To open the show, the next game from Arkane Austin (Prey) was chosen. It is via a long trailer that the studio illustrated its next creation. A long gameplay trailer that is a perfect sequel to last year’s presentation trailer, where it was the story that was highlighted. Redfall takes place on an island in Massachusetts, which players (alone or in groups) must free from the yoke of vampires.

Redfall: Bloody Gameplay Trailer

Redfall, announced last year during the 2021 edition of E3, then shared many details: an open-world multiplayer game developed by Arkane Studio. The trailer released today is a nearly six-minute gameplay trailer. We see different clashes against vampires in different areas of the game. The trailer promises a very elaborate atmosphere as well as an advanced RPG dimension.

In fact, there are four different characters that players can embody, all with different abilities. Jacob Boyer seems to be the team’s sniper, Remi de la Rosa always accompanied by his robot engineer, Devinder Crousley the hunter with his electric traps and finally Layla Ellison is considered to be the telekinetic threat. There was also a foretaste of the talent tree that players will be able to complete.

Redfall is expected by 2023 on PC, Xbox consoles and on the cloud. It will also be in PC Game Pass.
