Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will soon return to consoles in “a spiritual sequel to 80s-90s video games”

The Turtles video games resonated very strongly in our imagination because we could finally embody them. When we were kids, it was a great time for us when we played very first arcade machine Turtles pretty quickly after the cartoon. It was like playing an episode of the series! This projection into their universe is a memory that many people share.

Would a 3D graphics engine have been relevant to a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game? Why this desire for “retro” graphics?

Tribute games is recognized for pixel art of great quality. Our corporate mission is to develop aspect games retro with a touch of modernity. So it was for sure that our approach to this game would include high level pixel art!

Can we talk about the sequel to arcade video games from the 80s and 90s?

Definitely. Shredder’s Revenge is a spiritual sequel to our childhood arcade video game. However, we have put a lot of effort into making it a modern experience for today’s young and old to enjoy. This is not an archaic experience: the game is easy to approach for everyone and adapts to the player’s abilities. In addition, the game offers a variety of moves, animations, attacks and challenges that older games could not offer with the technology before.
