Proteins are an important part of your progress in Pokéclicker. They are used to increase the power of your Pokémon and therefore make your work easier. But considering their price, it is better to think about before using them. How to use them optimally? Which species should be favored to get the most statistics? The answers in the following lines.
How do proteins work?
Proteins are consumables to be used via the Items menu and are used to increase the attack achieved by a Pokémon with 1 each egg cycle. They are stored in the Item Bag.
You can donate 5 proteins to a Pokémon for each region you have unlocked. So in Kanto, the maximum a Pokémon will accept is logically 5. When you first set foot in Sinnoh, it will accept 20.
In Pokéclicker, Proteins from Pokémon League are purchased. Their price is progressive: the first one will cost you 10,000 ₽ and this will increase until it peaks at 1,000,000 ₽ from the fiftieth.
The best Pokémon for protein by region in Pokéclicker
Since Pokémon have a power debuff in a region that is not their own, the most effective Pokémon for proteins will vary from region to region. Listed here are the 10 most profitable for using proteins in each region. This means that depending on your current region, you will have the list of the most interesting Pokémon at the moment, but not necessarily in the long run. For this info, go directly to the table of the last available zone – currently Alola. And if you only remember one thing: Magikarp and Gyarados are safe values, effective no matter the region where you are.
Listed for each Pokémon is the attack they will get each hatching cycle – if they are on max Protein, the number of steps before their eggs hatch. And the breeding efficiency, called Breeding Efficiency, and which you can sort Pokémon by in the game.
