The German manufacturer is updating the prices of its Mercedes me Charge service, which provides access to 300,000 charging points in Europe.
From June 2022, the rates apply 52,500 charging points of the network Mercedes me Charge in France, out of about 300,000 charging points in Europe and 700,000 worldwide will develop. The German manufacturer will then offer three charging kits more transparent and adapted to the individual customer’s needs.
The Mercedes me Charge service wants simplify life for its userswhich provides access to more than 850 operators charging stations in Europe, at fixed rates regardless of operator. Thus, the customer will no longer have unpleasant surprises or uncertainties regarding the cost of charging his vehicle at public terminals.

Mercedes me Charge S: for occasional use
The offer “Mercedes me Charge S” provides access to charging stations in the Mercedes me Charge network without a monthly subscription. The actual cost of charging is determined by the operator of the charging network in question: At Ionity, e.g. fast charging (up to 350 kW power) at a rate of 0.79 € per. kWh.
The “S” tariff is suitable for customers who already use their own charging solutions on a daily basis, such as a terminal at home or at their workplace, but who want to be able to take advantage of the Mercedes me Charge charging network on an ad hoc basis when their movements.

Mercedes me Charge M: for moderate use
The offer “Mercedes me Charge M” is available by subscription. € 4.90 per month. For example, it is aimed at users who live in the city or in multi-storey properties, who do not always have a charging solution in their home or workplace. The “M” tariff is also suitable for customers who often charge up the road, with fixed charging costs and no surprises.
The “M” tariff provides access to the Mercedes me Charge network at a fixed price per kWh without taking into account the unit price invoiced by the operator of the charging network. For an AC recharge, the rate is € 0.35 / kWh, to which is added € 0.05 per. minute from 180th minute. In DC or on the Ionity network, the price is 0.35 € / min.
For new customers of a Mercedes-Benz plug-in hybrid model, the Mercedes me Charge M subscription is free for the first year.

Mercedes me Charge L: for frequent use
The offer “Mercedes me Charge L” is available by subscription. € 17.90 per month. It is intended for the most frequent users, such as those who travel long distances, recharge on high-speed networks and motorway terminals.
The “L” offer offers more favorable prices within the Mercedes me Charge network. For an AC recharge, the rate is 0.30 € / kWh, to which is added 0.05 € per. minute from 180th minute. In DC or on the Ionity network, the price is 0.30 € / min.
For new customers of a Mercedes-EQ electric model, the Mercedes me Charge L subscription is free for the first year, and for EQS, charging costs at Ionity stations are included for one year from activation of the service.
