TZCLD … in a nutshell!
The Zero Long-Term Unemployment Territory, to which the city of Pontchâteau has just been officially linked (the first in the Loire-Atlantique), has as its main purpose to set a different course in the fight against long-term unemployment.
In particular, it makes it possible to redistribute the costs associated with the long-term deprivation of employment, in order to help finance jobs in a sustainable way, socially beneficial to the areas, in addition to those that exist locally, and ensure decent working conditions.
The first pilot phase involved 10 territories between 2016 and 2021. 21 territories at the national level are currently involved in the process. In these areas, almost 1,300 additional jobs have been created since the start of the experiment.
