He created Cars-Up in 2019 in Fleury-les-Aubrais in collaboration with Frédéric Lasnier, CEO of Pentalog, owner of several beautiful cars that the young man already took care of, long before creation. of its business.
So what to do with this gem, especially if you live in the city, and how do you ensure that the engine starts when the owner feels like driving a ride? This is where Cars-Up comes into the picture. The young company already rents five closed, secure and temperature-controlled parking spaces, in Orleans, Fontainebleau and Paris. She opens in Brussels on April 25 and, she hopes, London in September. And without a doubt many other places to come.
For a basic subscription of 130 to 300 euros per month (depending on location), about fifteen employees regularly visit these parking lots, to check the charge level of the vehicles, prevent breakdowns and report any problems that Cars-Up will solve. “Last week, for example, we had a flat tire repaired,” commented Samuel Lelarge.
Today, the company has 140 regular customers, entrepreneurs, active or retired senior executives … A figure that she intends to see progress very fast: “Between 500 and 1,000 by the end of the year.” And this especially thanks to a recent fundraising of 700,000 euros and by differentiating itself from other players, thanks to its additional services and its digital application.
From registration to resale
An application where the lucky owner sees all the monitoring of his vehicle. Cars-Up can take care of everything: registration, gray card, insurance, technical inspection, repairs, even legal advice.
The company even offers fifty cars for sale. Its customers, advised according to their budget, can purchase them with a single click on the app.
Cars-Up can go beyond these services to meet the needs and wants of subscribers by organizing events, such as rallies or gatherings. Or by delivering the vehicles.
