New leaks and it starts again
We all wonder if Konami will release the oh so beloved Silent Hill license from the other side of the grave. Fans become impatient and demand again and again a new opus from the creation of Keiichiro Toyama. Except that we currently do not have anything very concrete to put in our mouths. The last “official” project dates back to 2015 with the PT demo, which ended with a trailer for Silent Hills. The game, since it was abandoned, had to be piloted by Hideo Kojima himself before the divorce between the creator and Konami was pronounced. The sequel we know, Kojima Sensei created his studio and offered us the unique Death Stranding
Without questioning the quality of Hideo Kojima’s work, we are far from satisfying fans of psychological horror. About Silent Hills, director Guillermo Del Toro had also expressed his disappointment at the direct cancellation of this project. If Konami has kept the mystery for a long time, we know that the company had recently registered the name of its brand without revealing more. Today, very recent leaks are finally coming to restore hope for those who are certainly waiting for a new opus.
(1/2) is a bit dated, from 2020, so maybe this project looks a little different now. But what I choose to share. I know many will doubt this, but I have a lot of private evidence to show that this is genuine, and as always, I’m still waiting for the revelation of the Silent Hill game.

The Twitter user Dusk Golem shared some photos of a project that would date back to 2020. Dusk Golem has been the source of several more or less reliable leaks about the Silent Hill and Resident Evil games for a few years now. Although the accuracy of his comments is questionable, his tweet was recently deleted due to copyright infringement and the speed of response gave him more credibility.
If we can not share these images, we can describe them. We could see tortured decorations in a dilapidated house, as well as a female character whose face is covered in cryptic messages. Another image shows once sanded with sheets of paper. At the end of this corridor we find a character with a kind of cherry blossom on his head. This image is particularly interesting because it refers to comments from Masahiro Itō, artistic director of the license.
I love my character “Pyramid Head”, but really do not want to use him anymore. However, it will be too difficult to make a new SH without him.
So if I were to make a horror title, it would not be SH, and I would try to use cherry trees as one of the horror materials.– 伊藤 暢達 / Masahiro Ito (@ separat4) April 16, 2018
If the creator at the time maintained that he did not want to use this idea for the license, it appears that the leak shared by Dusk Golem would argue otherwise.
A covenant with the devil
Another point that has been going on for a while now and was once again mentioned by Dusk Golem is in relation to the gameplay. At the time of the project carried out by Kojima, the player should have signed an agreement so that the game could contact him via email or phone in real life. This rumor had already been cited in 2019 by Alanah Pearce, a journalist who later became a screenwriter for Sony Santa Monica. A terrible dimension that has never been exploited before and that would have had the benefit of being truly innovative. This mechanic seems to be still relevant.
I heard that Silent Hills would require you to sign a waiver before you play because it would somehow interact with your real self, as by sending you emails or text messages as characters from the game, even when you did not play actively. https://t.co/aWezrmYA7v

An PS5 exclusive, not one but several titles under development?
We will also mention here another rumor that says that this game would be exclusive to Playstation. The title would apparently be developed by the Bloober Team, which has just signed an exclusivity agreement with Sony. What’s more, remember that the studio signed a partnership with… Konami in 2021. The Bloober Team teams would therefore be responsible for this game, while several Silent Hill titles would be under development as part of this partnership.
The leaks follow one another, the stars flush. Can we expect anything concrete from this information? We will have to wait until we have more information from the main stakeholders. It should also be remembered that the images that Dusk Golem has shared date back to 2020. However, it should be noted that the presumed project may not ultimately look like the one that leaked. If nothing comes of all this, we can always comfort ourselves with SlitterheadKeiichiro Toyama’s new project.
