In the French days, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 (128 GB) falls below € 200

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 is a cheap smartphone, but it is not surpassed at the component level to ensure decent performance. Today, the 128 GB version goes from 249 euros to only 199 euros thanks to a cumulative reduction with an ODR.

If you are a little familiar with Xiaomi’s line of smartphones, you are probably familiar with Redmi Notes. This series is known for providing the best value for money. Arrived recently, Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 takes over from its predecessors with still a muscular technical sheet at a limited price. Already affordable, the 128 GB version loses 50 euros of its price during the French days.

What does Redmi Note 11 offer?

  • A beautiful 90 Hz AMOLED screen
  • An effective entry-level SoC
  • Comfortable autonomy combined with fast charging

Launched at a price of 249.90 euros, the 4 + 128 GB version of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 drops to 199 euros on the Fnac side, thanks to an instant discount of 20 euros combined with an ODR worth 30 euros – valid until 15 May 2022.

Entry-level flagship killer

Redmi Note 11, which represents the manufacturer’s entry level, is very balanced for its price. The smartphone certainly offers a very classic front surface, but the finishes are nice and it exudes a certain elegance. If its 6.43-inch format can seem impressive, we really appreciate its AMOLED panel, which features a Full HD + definition for infinite contrast but also excellent brightness. In addition, a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth browsing and stereo speakers for better sound quality when watching video content.

On the photo side, the Note 11 consists of a 50-megapixel main sensor, with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel depth. Xiaomi’s smartphone therefore shows versatility, but is not a master in photography. The images remain correct, but without shining especially after dark.

Low price but strong

To work efficiently, the Redmi Note 11 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chip with 4GB of RAM on this model. This configuration will not be enough to run demanding 3D games, but it will be more than enough to run your applications or do multitasking without any problems. On the software side, of course, the latest version of the MIUI 13 home interface based on Android 11 is enough to offer a comfortable and fluid experience.

Finally, the phone has a large 5000 mAh battery. The smartphone can thus be used for two days before it requires a full charge. It is even compatible with fast charging up to 33 W for fast recovery percentages: 50% in 30 minutes. It’s still better than some high-end phones, for example limited to 25 W. A little extra, this smartphone has a jack port for those who have not gone wireless. We also note the presence of an NFC chip as well as an IP53 certification to withstand a minimum of splashes and dust.
