Trace Network Labs brings your Metaverse avatar to life with the launch of BUDDY

An announcement from the NFT-based luxury-lifestyle-metaverse catalyst, Trace Network Labs, recently launched its first product, Buddy.

Trace Network Labs is building a blockchain-driven platform that will enable lifestyle brands to launch multi-chain, multi-verse products for residents in metaverse. Metavers are parallel digital realities where people are represented by their digital twins or “avatars” and can pretty much do most things that are possible in real life: work, play and socialize.

The project aims to be a leader in NFTs, DeFi and digital mode.

Blur the boundaries between physical and virtual domains

Buddy is central to users’ metaverse identity and aims to be the next generation of human-like avatars that go beyond PFPs and allow metaverse residents to truly express themselves through their avatars. Buddy is intended to be Trace Network Labs’ springboard for creating metaphors powered by NFTs and digital fashion. Under Buddy, all fashion assets, from avatars and clothing to accessories, would be embossed and stored on the chain as NFTs. Users could create any number of avatars and modulations of these avatars using Buddy and dress up for any event on the metaverse using their digital wardrobe. Using Buddy, one can perform tasks in the metaverse, buy gadgets, play games, socialize and negotiate deals with their avatars, and fully personify their metaverse avatars.

The company envisions that Buddy should be an income-generating asset with value for its owners in the future rather than just a digital character. It also hopes to pave the way for immersive experiences in virtual meetings and events held on metaverse platforms and enable a new facet of virtual storytelling. Just like how Google login is for Web2.0 applications, Buddy will be able to enter any metaverse.

Buddy has the potential to play a role in identity creation in metaverse social contexts and enable authentic virtual representation of users. In addition, Metaverse will allow its users, called Buddies, to purchase limited edition portable NFTs from Trace Network’s BLING NFT marketplace.

To go one step further, Trace Network also plans to launch its NFT BLING Marketplace in the next quarter. The Marketplace will be a forum for people to buy and sell lifestyle products like NFTs and allow Buddies to build their digital wardrobe and equip their Buddy avatars across the metavers. The marketplace aims to connect real-world goods and non-fungible virtual tokens that would be coined to represent particularly limited luxury goods such as dresses, wallets, handbags, beauty accessories and more!
