13. Earth & Letters Festival Espace Encan, September 21, 2022, La Rochelle.

13. Earth & Letters Festival
from Wednesday 21 September to Sunday 25 September at Espace Encan
### The 13th edition of the Terre & Lettres Festival will take place over 3 days from 21st to 25th September around two main areas of discovery. ** Fiction (literature and comics) makes a comeback ** with a full day reserved for ten authors of novels, children’s books and comics who draw inspiration from nature and the experience of this nature. (Nature Writing, Ecopoetics) Presentations, meetings, master classes and dedications will be organized in Encan’s Great Hall to encourage and prioritize meeting times between authors and the public. Fiction will also be produced from March to September – in writing workshops organized in schools (3 high school classes, 2 middle school classes and 2 elementary school classes) and led by four professional writers from New Aquitaine – in the great free writing game open to all neo Aquitaine. There will be 5 reading aloud workshops between March and September to prepare for the restoration of the workshops’ productions and the big writing game during the festival. Writing workshops like the great writing game will invite participants to project themselves into the second half of the century to imagine what their life and environment will be like. Terre & Lettres will suggest taking an interest in the ** link between ecology and health ** when we may have just come out of three years with the COVID 19 health crisis and emergency measures. Understand how the loss of biodiversity, the destruction of wild habitats, air, water and soil pollution, the proliferation of chemical molecules in our environment, our food and our pharmacopoeia, constitute new health and alter our natural immune system.
