Characteristics of a business school
Management schools, also called business schools, are private higher education institutions that provide diplomas in sectors related to the company such as trade, management, leadership or marketing. These diplomas benefit from different levels of recognition, from simple registration with RNCP, through visa – bachelor’s or master’s degree – to the grade – bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Business schools are often structured around a flagship program, the Grande Ecole programand expand their portfolio with other courses such as three-year bachelor’s degrees, four-year BBAs (Bachelor of Business Administration), Masters of Science, specialized graduates or even MBAs and continuing education programs.
How to integrate a business school?
There are business schools that are available directly after graduation, and others open after a preparatory class for Grandes Ecoles (CPGE). Most of them are available via an entrance exam consisting of written and oral exams.

If you have decided to undergo a preparation to participate in a Grande Ecole program at a business school, you must also go through the competition box. There are two major banks:
- Common Examination Bank (BCE), which collects exams from 19 major business schools;
- Ecricome, which collects the tests from four schools.

What do you learn in business school?

The latest CGE integration survey shows that 76.7% of graduates from business schools were in professional activity in 2020.
