Welcome to the largest car dealer in France: Salon de Lyon! From 7 to 11 April, car enthusiasts will have an appointment with Eurexpo to discover the latest innovations. Lyons High Fair is not intended to exhibit “world premieres”.

A few brands played the game at the Salon de Lyon by presenting, for the very first time on French soil, newly unveiled models. So Honda brought the eleventh generation of its Civic. The compact, equipped with a new hybrid engine, comes in its mid-range Sport finish that can be recognized by its diffuser, its side skirts, its specific 18-inch rims and its black mirror caps.
Maserati also pulled all the stops by bringing in his Grecale. The compact luxury SUV, Levante’s little brother, comes in an original matte glazed brown color. This is the powerful entry-level GT version of 300 hp, and whose price starts at € 75,450.
For its part, Kia made the surprise of coming along with its new Niro. The second generation of the compact SUV, which has a less consensual design, is still offered with three engines to choose from: hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric. The entrance ticket is set at € 31,790.
Finally, if you were planning on encountering Tonale at the Alfa Romeo booth, go your way! The Italian manufacturer only has to offer you a XXL image of the compact SUV. Shame. That’s it though possible to pre-order the model on site. The launch version, equipped with a 1.5 l 130 hp petrol engine, costs € 39,000.

The electrifying news
The time is for 100% electric vehicles … Visitors to the exhibition are also greeted by a number of zero-emission models. To better discover them, manufacturers invite potential buyers to their stands. Thus, Renault offers to get acquainted with Mégane E-Tech Electric, which it exhibits in duplicate.
Just turn around to find yourself face to face with your cousin, the Nissan Ariya. The Japanese model uses the same platform as the diamond model. The SUV can be ordered. Prices range from € 46,400 to € 60,400 and deliveries are scheduled from this summer.
Another SUV making its debut in France: ID.5, the coupe pendant for ID.4. The dimensions between the two models are almost identical. On the other hand, the newcomer shows a more exclusive positioning. Its arrival at the retailer begins in the spring. The starting price is set at € 51,450 in the Pro version with 174 hp rear engine and 77 kWh (net) battery.
With cousin Skoda, the Enyaq Coupé iV and its RS version are in the spotlight. The 4.65 m long SUV is available in different power levels from 180 to 300 hp. The autonomy varies depending on the selected battery. It can reach a maximum of 545 km. The Enyaq Coupé RS will be available from May for around € 60,000. The rest of the range, which should start at € 45,000, will be marketed in September.
Although Tesla is relegated to a small corner of the main hall, it does not fail to arouse interest. The American brand is represented by its bestseller in Europe, Model 3, as well as by its new SUV, assembled in Germany, Model Y. Finally, on the side of new brands, Aiways and MG would not have missed for everything in the world This living room . The Chinese manufacturers each present their novelty: SUV U5 on one side, MG5 station wagon on the other.

How to enjoy!
Do not forget to complete your visit with a visit to the Ferrari stand, where an impressive 812 Competizione. In the configuration visible at the Salon de Lyon, the sporty V12 atmo 830 hp is shown for more than € 600,000! Another race car not to be missed is the Maserati MC20. The 630 hp V6 Italian sports car comes in a black dress that fits it perfectly. Less discreet is the clothing of Huracan STO, which is on display at the Lamborghini stand (to be discovered in our slide show). The transalpine racer equipped with an impressive aerodynamic set has a 640 hp V10. Note to amateurs, it’s for sale for a little bit of € 400,000.
